A Bit Of Book’ish Fun

I was recently invited to take part in a live stream podcast with two enthusiastic ladies from over ‘the pond’ about my book and how it came to being.

The ladies: Kellen Ann Fisher and Michelle Vincent host a weekly podcast called ‘Candidly speaking with Chelle and Kelle’. Their topics cover absolutely anything and everything, and during March, they have invited a number of UK based authors to take part.

Now it’s fair to say this was very much like a fireside chat with two close friends than a formal interview as ‘Chelle and Kelle’ allow themselves to be distracted and go off on a tangent. And that’s what made this so much fun.

My invitation to take part was no surprise as I have worked with Kellen over the past two years as we were in the same accountability group when I joined Michael Heppell’s Write that Book Masterclass. You’ll have heard me mention the Masterclass over the last couple of years, as it was what inspired me to write MY book.

Have you ever thought of writing a book? Just an inkling maybe?

Well, Michael is kicking off a Write that Book Pop-UP from Monday the 4th of April. This is a taster of what’s involved and it’s a great way to decide how you might want to plan to write your book. If you’re interested, have a look here. It’s only £9 for the week’s intensive introduction, so less than a price of a cup of coffee a day. And in addition to getting an insight into writing and publishing your book, you also get some amazingly brilliant coaching from the Times No 1 best selling author and coach – Michael Heppell, someone I am now proud to be able to call a friend.

Back to my Interview

The link at the top of the page takes you to Chelle and Kelle’s YouTube channel where you can watch our chat. We naturally cover the story of how my book came to be created, written, funded through crowdsourcing and published. But I also digress into my love for my home town, Aberystwyth, and I reveal some behind the scenes stories that haven’t made it into my book.

And if you’re inspired to want to buy a copy of my book, I’m offering a 10% discount. Just get in touch and I’ll share the discounted link with you. I actually give away the password to my discount page in the video – see if you can work it out?

And finally…

Time 107.5 FM

Late last year, I was invited by my local radio station Time 107.5 fm to talk about my book as they wanted to feature it as part of their news bulletins. Sadly, they were unable to retrieve a copy of all the material they used, but here’s a tiny snippet of how the radio station used my interview during their news bulletins.
